MINILAB.PHOTO

You saw it before anyone else did.

Eight minutes, no more. There are no right answers here, and flattery is the one thing that would waste both our time — the sharpest note is the most useful one. Your photos never leave your machine; these answers go to me and nowhere else.

1 · So I can read your answers properly
What do you mostly shoot?
Do you shoot film yourself?
What do you use today to get an analog look?

Presets, plugins, an app, scanning real film — or nothing at all.

2 · The first few minutes
What did you do first, before reading anything?

Whatever it was. If you clicked around aimlessly, that is the answer I need — it tells me what the screen invites.

Where did you get stuck, confused, or annoyed?

Even for two seconds. Even if you figured it out. Especially then — the things people work around are the ones I never hear about.

Was there anything you looked for and could not find?
3 · The pictures
Does the result look analog to you — or like a digital photo with an effect on it?
1 — clearly a filter5 — I would believe it was film
What gives it away? Where does it stop being convincing?

This is the single most valuable answer on the page. Be merciless.

Which parts actually earned their place?

Tick only what visibly did something for your picture.

And which did nothing for you, or you would drop?

Naming one here helps me more than ticking five above.

4 · For real work
How would you feel if you could no longer use it?
Would this survive contact with a real job? What would have to be true?

Resolution, file formats, speed, batches, a client sitting next to you.

If you could change exactly one thing before launch — what?
5 · What it is worth

You have not been told a price, and that is on purpose — I want your number, not a reaction to mine. Answer from the gut, for the tool as you just used it.

Buy it once, keep it, twelve months of updates. What would you pay?
€
And as a subscription — per month?
€
Above which price would you not even try it?

The point where it stops being worth a look, whatever it does.

€
Which of the two would you actually pick, and why?
6 · Two last things
Where did you run it?
Did anything feel slow or stuck?

Which control, and roughly how long.

Anything else. Off the record, unfiltered.

Goes straight to Christoph. If you are offline it falls back to the clipboard, so nothing is ever lost.
